The Comedians Golfing Society was formed in 1977 for Comedians to join forces and play golf whilst raising funds for charity. 

 

Once a month a group of men, mainly from the world of entertainment but also some very special men from other walks of life, come together for a game of golf, to socialise, share some laughs and to discuss ways of helping grow our charity fund.

​It is probably the only time we would get so many people from the entertainment business together to socialise and enjoy each other's company playing the great game. But whilst enjoying ourselves is important, we get as much enjoyment in raising funds for those not as fortunate as ourselves.

​

We play charity golf days with members of various golf clubs and provide a full cabaret show in the evening. The proceeds of these days go to our charity fund and not one member claims expenses to be there - we go because we believe in what we are doing. The money raised is spent on providing specialist equipment to help many people who need assistance. This is all down to people like you supporting us, for this we thank you all.

 

​The Comedians Golfing Society have worked with and along side most of the major charitable organisations in the UK to ensure their day has been a success. You too can be part of our success.

We are always looking for new members especially from or linked to the entertainment world. Comedians? of course but singers, magicians, DJ's, agents, bookers, promoters, the list goes on. Why not come and join us on our next fixture? No one is left a stranger and we welcome all new potential members with open arms. We are sure you will know some of our members anyway. Not only that but our monthly social golf days are a great way to unwind and share stories and laughs.
